Trending Swimwear Looks for this Summer

Hello everyone and welcome to another blog post! We are only days away from the start of the Summer and today I'm bringing you a list of the swimwear styles that will be trending most in the coming months so you feel ready to enjoy the sun, the ocean and the heat.

1. Animal Print

We'll see cow, zebra, tiger, cheetah prints and more! The animal print style has made a comeback to take over the beaches and honestly, I couldn't love this trend more. Since animal prints are quite flashy, I prefer to see them on bikinis rather than one-piece styles because it makes the print look at bit more subtle.

2. Halter Tops

I'm sure you've seen this trend all over Instagram. This Summer, your bikini tops will tie behind your neck in different halter styles. What I love the most about this style is that it looks very elegant and it also has the versatility to become a street style top.

3. Innovative One-Pieces

One-pieces never go out of style and they are a good option for a more elegant and comfortable look on the beach. This season we'll see plenty of one-pieces but this time with innovative cuts that allow to show a little more skin. This trend started on the streets but it's now taken over the beaches so you'll see plenty of brands coming up with similar styles.

4. Romantic Ruffle Swimwear

Ruffles will be present this season in both subtle styles and big/jazzy styles. I personally love the way ruffles make any look more feminine and romantic.

5. Shiny Fabric

We'll continue to see classic and minimalistic styles but with a shinny twist. This season we'll see shiny fabrics in pastels and colorful styles. Since this is a flashy style as well, I also prefer to see it in bikinis rather than one-pieces so the look is more subtle.

6. Wrinkled Styles

Bikinis or one pieces, we'll see wrinkled styles in both of them. Similar to the ruffles, this trend is here to give your beach look a more romantic touch. Although if you are looking for something more bold, try this trend in a mini bikini!

7. Sport Style

This is the year of the Olympics and as usual, the sports industry influences the full fashion industry. You'll see more simple, classic swimwear styles that focus more on comfortability and making sure that everything stays in place while you swim, run and enjoy the sun.
